Around the World on Wednesday - CAS(e) the Catalogue Alternative

Hello and welcome to the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop for February 2026.

The Team are continuing to celebrate our 5th year of the AWOW Blog Hop this month and I am very excited to say that we are CASeing the amazing Teri West from Alaska.

Below is an image of where the team are located around the world. 

I recently met Teri in person and it was the most wonderful time together. We talked all things Stampin' Up! and we spent a little time in my craft room. She is the loveliest person and I hope to catch up with her again. I love her gorgeous creations and clean style. 

As you can imagine, it was difficult deciding on which card to CASe but settled on a Valentine's Day card as Valentine's Day falls this weekend. Teri made this card in February of 2025 and I adore the elegance of her layered hearts and colour.

I have created my card using products from the Made With Love Suite Collection. This suite is featured in the new Mini Catalogue. It has the sweetest heart and envelope embellishments as well as gorgeous heart dies. every thing you need for those Valentine's cards.

My card base is Real Red. I then cut a piece of the striped Made With Love Designer Series Paper as a mat layer. Such gorgeous tones together. The DSP was glued to the card base. I then cut two Basic White mat layers. One slightly larger than the other. I glued them together and then proceeded to build the card front.

I die cut six hearts using the die set. I used the Hearts of Love Embossing Folder to then emboss the six die cut hearts. I arranged the die cut hearts on the smaller piece of Basic White card stock and glued them down. I then cut the excess hearts that hung over the mat layer off with scissors. I adhered the white layers to the card front using Dimensionals.

I die cut the heart out of the Made With Love DSP and the detailed outline heart out of Flirty Flamingo card stock. I tied a length of Linen Thread in a bow and adhered it to the back of the DSP heart using Tear 'n Tape. I glued the outlined Flirty Flamingo piece to the DSP heart and adhered it to the card front using Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and punched out the banner label using the Three Banner punch. Then 5 of the heart embellishments were adhered around the DSP heart using glue.
